Follow this journey as we highlight photos we have taken along the way.  From the Pacific Ocean to North Dakota’s wide open plains to the Missouri River, Idaho and South Dakota.  We have visited Fort Mandan, Fort Manuel Lisa, Fort Clatsop.  We’ve rafted down rivers to photograph what Sacajawea could have seen.  We’ve hiked through virgin forests and  up mountains to capture the majestic peaks, one after another, that the explorers had not even imagined.  We stood at the mighty Columbia and gazed at Cape Disappointment across the choppy mouth as the sun set behind the Great Water, and imagined her early life along the Salmon River in Idaho.

These photos are only a fraction of the magnificent scenery that will be visible in all its glory through this Windcatcher film.  Imagine the Corps of Discovery and this young Indian girl with her son walking, riding, pushing their boats or rolling them down steep cliffs from North Dakota to the Pacific — from dry plains to snow-capped peaks to roaring waves.  A fantastic adventure that we all will soon experience!
