It was a spiritual connection throughout her life which brought her to the revelation that she must share Sacajawea’s character and persona with others. In doing so, this courageous woman, Sacajawea, can now be an important role model for women around the world.
Jane’s personal story is fascinating and will inspire those who hear it. She is a captivating speaker who connects in a passionate and natural way with her audience. As a first-time screenwriter, her journey of how she wrote a screenplay about this young Indian girl is both exciting and enlightening.

LITERARY BIO: JANE L. FITZPATRICK is a freelance writer and editor of screenplays and other literary manuscripts. She wrote the epic feature film, Windcatcher: The Story of Sacajawea.
Jane is a poet, a business writer, Internet content writer, a blogger, a book editor and has articles published online. She’s also written several short stories and five other screenplays in various stages of completion to include a romantic comedy, Mountain Man; a light drama, Greek Holiday; a thriller comedy, Mexican Orient Express; a children’s animated series based on the life of Eskimos living in the Baffin Islands, and the literary works of Anauta; and she is doing extensive research developing a screenplay entitled Pomp, based on the life of Sacajawea’s son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau.
Jane has a degree in Marketing and has worked in the marketing/sales arena for over 20 years. In addition, she took continuing education courses in children’s literature. Jane has written and led writing seminars for children and teens, she’s led travel series seminars and she was a spokesperson on radio. To add to her diverse experience, Jane has also led travel groups around the world.
